Project 18
Audition for Project 18 and you could end up on a heavily promoted CD, gigs at two great local clubs and a chance to be part of a College Tour!
Project 18 is an Arizona Music Showcase
We're looking for the 18 best acts in Arizona. The acts we select will get:
- A recording session at Underdog Studios worth $600
- Inclusion of your best cut on the heavily promoted Project 18 CD
- To be part of two big CD Release parties
- 20 copies of the CD to keep, give away or even sell
- An opportunity to be part of a big college tour
Exclusive Auditions
In order to get selected, you must audition. Auditions are being held on Wednesdays from now through August 25th at the Big Fish Pub in Tempe. Each band gets 30 minutes to setup, play 2 songs, and tear down. If you opt to use our gear, you'll have time for a couple more songs.
Winners will be judged on performance, stagecraft, the ability to draw a crowd and more. We'll announce the winners on September 1st at Big Fish Pub with a big party. Almost immediately, you go into the studio. All acts will be record during September and early October with the final cd release on November 19th and 20th with shows at the Big Fish Pub and the Goathead Saloon in Mesa.
Big Tour Opportunity
The top 9 bands will be given the opportunity to be part of a big college tour in early 2011 put together by WCL Music.
